Project Dogwaffle team releases PD Artist 2

PD Artist 2 is PD Howler (PD Pro 6), but without the animation tools. The result: a lean, mean painting machine! It is built on the same howling-fast core engine as the one used in PD Pro 6 (AKA PD Howler) and thus benefits from interface improvements, multithreading, SSE2, speed enhancements and other optimizations. Some animated filters were removed. Some filters that had animation options were modified to exclude the animated portion.

Autodesk 123D Beta6 is here

Beta 6 brings a lot of improvements which have improving the workflow, usability, and discoverability. Many of them were created as answer of request from forum feedback. You will not need to uninstall previous versions of 123D to install Beta 6, the installer would do that automatically. Making Of "Ice Creature"

Another „making of“ in Photoshop was published by 3DTotal. This was created by Fil Barlow, who started working with Photoshop more than 10 years ago. Although he started 10 years ago, he considered yourself skills as a basic because then it was a much simpler and less robust program. He began his image by creating a sketch, which he after scanned and imported to Photoshop. To creating this making of he mostly used the Pencil tool and added some tricks with brush.

The assets include various tree types and specifications, e.g from 3m high Persian Ironwood Tree till 32m high Common Aspen. All of which are compatible with 3ds Max 2008 and higher. Trees II collection, Volume 14, is available now for $99.
