MAXON supports animation competition that's all about the new features in CINEMA 4D R13. Each who wants to enter to this contest, has to create a 99 frames animation. Everyone can and should be inspired to take part using the new features of CINEMA 4D R13 to create their own breathtaking animation. After the contest has ended, all 99frames animations will be composited to make up a large clip with a fitting, specially composed soundtrack that will be made available to the global community. 

Hakan Hançer published on portal 3DTotal.com a making of of his new artwork nicely called „Scorpion Patrol“. Hakan reveal in the making of that the idea and most of the contruction comes from a real military project which was unfortunately cancelled but Hakan decided to finish it and make this awesome artwork. The new generation ATV was already from part made and Hakan decided to remodel and finish the modeling by redesigning most of the parts of the ATV which gave the vehicle a Sci-Fi look.

Gnomon workshop released a new training DVD about designing a futuristic racing vehicles called The Art of ‘PULSE‘. In this latest release, Harald Belker will cover techniques and workflow used in entertainment design and concept creation. The crossover integration of several 3D programs, combined and finished in Adobe Photoshop®, provide the best results in the creation of stunning vehicles. The training divided in 9 chapters and 108 minutes will start by modeling the vehicle using Modo® and rendering using KeyShot®.

Digital-Tutors revealed a preview of an upcoming training called „Modeling a Female Hero“. This training is focused on the workflow methods inside Autodesk Maya 2012 and ZBrush 4.
