Suicidator for Blender 2.6 Released

blenderSuicidator City Generator (SCG) is a popular Python script for Blender. With it, you can automatically create entire, three-dimensional modern cities in a matter of seconds by adjusting various parameters, such as city size and complexity, rather than creating each building, each street, and each texture manually. City-builder add-on Suicidator has been updated to version 0.5, which is able for Blender 2.6. This version so contains automatic building and street generator and also building texture generator and terrain elevation control. 

Golaem releases Golaem Crowd 1.3 for Maya

Golaem announces Golaem Crowd 1.3, the latest update to its crowd simulation software for Autodesk maya. Golaem Crowd is very useful and brings many benefits, e.g. fully integrated with your pipeline, brings believable character animations, quick learning curve or no need to deal with the crowd complexity at once. In addition to the usual round of bugfixes and tweaks, Golaem Crowd 1.3 adds two new behaviours: an IK behaviour intended to enable digital actors to point at or touch targets, and a standard Look At behaviour. 

The Foundry releases OCULA 3.0

After three years of continued research The Foundry announce the release of OCULA 3.0, which is a significant upgrade to their stereo plugin toolset for the NUKE compositing system. This release forces their position as industry leader in stereo 3D production. OCULA 3.0 brings new tools to help fix mis-focused camera pairs and retime in stereo as well as a range of workflow tweaks and improvements to speed up day‐to-day OCULA use dramatically.  OCULA 3.0 is available immediately and works on the same platforms as NUKE/NUKEX. 

Maxwell for Google SketchUp plugin

Except release of Maxwell Render Suite 2.6 Next Limit Technologies also announces the release of Maxwell for Google SketchUp. This is a brand new product offering SketchUp users the benefits of advanced rendering in a custom built package for FREE! Maxwell for Google SketchUp is a self-contained (standalone) package containing its own render engine specifically designed for and fully integrated into Google SketchUp. This means that no other application is launched when you render your scene, and no exporting will be needed. 

2.7 PhysX plug-in for Maya is also available

This wee we announced that NVIDIA release new version of their PhysX plug-in for 3ds Max and now NVIDIA already updated also this  PhysX plug-in for Maya. This version has support for PhysX 3.1 and also for APEX Clothing 1.1 and has also compatibility with other plug-ins that use PhysX directly (e.g. Thinking Particles). Release of 2.7 PhysX plug-in for Maya brings new unified exporter and improved PhysX shelf GUI. More details yoo will find, when you follow link at the end of article.
