OnyxTREE BROADLEAF and OnyxPALM creators got a bug fix which fix frame-to-frame polygon count. Now, users using Lightwave3D, Cinema4D, Modo, 3DsMax, Maya and others can create animation of wind using these software’s. OnyxTREE BROADLEAF (PALM)is a software, procedural creator and modeler of foliage. The software comes with a library of over 220 (50) presets ready to use which includes trees, bushes and others. You can update your license now to get the fix or order a new license, it’s just up to you.

To obtain the scholarship applicants have to complete the application form and they have to provide a url to a digital portfolio of their work, completed application and supplemental materials as referenced in the application process. Some applications can be vetted by members of VES Scholarship Committee. After considering the recommendations of the Commission, VES Board of Directors will make the final decision on who will be the lucky one. Deadline is 17th June.

30th June is deadline of competition, which is aimed on creating heads of fantasy creature. Imagination isn`t limited. So you can try to create an elf, orc, dragon etc.The goals with this contest is to create something fast, it can be cartoony or realistic it is up to you.

- You can use a basemesh that we provide or you can make your own
- You can use whatever software you see fit (I recommend ZBrush and Mudbox)
