Luxology released first service pack for 3d modeling software modo. This SP is focused on fixing bugs but it brings also some improvements and some enhancements. Probably the most significant change is that modo 601 ads support for 3Dconnexion input devices. modo 601 now also offers certified support for the full range of 3Dconnexion’s 3D mice. 3Dconnexion input devices are already compatible with 3ds Max, Maya, Blender and Cinema 4D, as well as Photoshop and a range of CAD packages.
3Dconnexion 3D mice enable artists, animators and designers to intuitively interact with modo 601 content in a way that’s unattainable with a traditional mouse and keyboard, boosting creativity and speed while enhancing comfort by reducing dependency on a standard mouse or tablet. Users working in Orbit Object mode feel like they’re holding the digital model in their hand, a feeling further intensified by 3Dconnexion’s intelligent 3D navigation which automatically adjusts the object’s center of rotation depending on the user’s point of interest.
