Maya 2012 SAP Node Editor Overview

Autodesk Maya 2012Autodesk revealed a short overview about the new node editor for Maya 2012 included inside Autodesk 2012 Subscription Advantage Pack. Basically all scene elements are node-based, each node have its own attributes and customization. As a result, the visual representation of a scene is based entirely on a network of interconnecting nodes, depending on each other’s information. For the convenience of viewing these networks, there is a dependency and a directed acyclic graph.

With the new Node editor you can manage and debug complex node networks with features like drag-and-drop connections, color coding, and three levels of detail. The subscription package contains also Alebic point caching and internal Bullet Physics. Watch the short video below to understand the new function and features.
