Pixologic released a new version of their world leading digital sculpting software ZBrush 4R2 for Windows and Mac OS. ZBrush changed the way of CG industry bringing the possibilities of „hand“ sculpting and painting into digital world. Pixologic included into the new version a lot of new features from which the most interesting is DynaMesh, the new base mesh generator, will allow you to realize your concepts via a workflow that ignores the traditional geometry barrier.
A new Curve mode has been added to the Stroke palette, allowing you to apply your brush strokes with all their settings and modifiers along a defined curve. Also new features to geometry, materials, Light Cap and more. The new version is free to update to Pixologic customers in the download section at Pixologic. The videos below demonstrate some of the features which came with the new version of ZBrush.
