After long time since this version was announced, officialy is LuxRender v1.0 released. LuxRender is a physically based and unbiased rendering engine. With this version it brings a long list of improvements and more stability. According to LuxRender team is this probably the most stable release of LuxRender even if a few issues remain and should be fixed in a forthcoming release.

LuxRender 1.0 is available now for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Scene export plugins are available for Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, DAZ Studio, Poser, SketchUp and Softimage.
