Luxion announces the upcoming version of their render engine KeyShot. This new version does not bring new features. This release is focused on enhancements and improvements to the existing functionality. Luxion promises that we will see enhanced speed, a cleaner interface and a few handfuls of fixes sure to make creating your renderings even faster. KeyShot 3.2 will have support for Autodesk Maya 2013, Autodesk ALIAS 2013 and Spanish language support. Luxion plans to release this update in next couple weeks.
What brings version 3.2:
- Support for scale and transformations (scale and transformation remembered on all levels)
- Use the arrow keys to move around in the scene tree, through the camera list etc.
- Support for part names and wild cards (*.*) in material templates
- Instant loading of all libraries content (no waiting for material/environments/textures to display)
- Sync of real-time and advanced render settings in render dialog (raybounces, shadow quality)
- Increase of maximum raybounces in real-time settings to 64
- UI clean-up throughout the system
