Evermotion released a new version of their standalone render engine called NOX. Because there is very less basic information about this renderer we can’t tell for sure about the team which is developing the render engine or more information this kind, but because it’s hosted by Evermotion we guess it’s they development. NOX renderer is a render engine based on unbiased methods and it’s free of use also for commercial purposes. NOX is compatible with Autodesk 3DsMax 2011 (lower) and Blender, but the developers promised to release TODAY a version compatible also with Autodesk 3DsMax 2012.
NOX brings to 3DsMax a nox sunlight, nox camera, nox material, exporter and more... . There is a lot of new options and approaches which brings this new renderer. We hope to see more information about NOX soon, for the meantime a gallery below will give you an example how powerful NOX can be.
