Lumion 2.0 releasedOne year from announcing and releasing the first version of Lumion render software, Act-3D released the long awaited Lumion 2.0. Lumion is a real-time 3D visualization tool for architects, urban planners and designers.. The new version brings architecture visualization to the next level with numerous of drastic improvements, from the addition of indoor lighting to new post processor effects and content. One of the new changes in Lumion 2.0 is the new importer which was extended supporting now AutoDesk® DWG and DXF file formats.

GrowFX 1.8.0 is released

GrowFX is a plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max, allowing you to build any plants and trees. GrowFX allows you to create extremely realistic trees or can be used to create a single plant or a group of plants. Today exlevel released new version of this plugin, which give users a unique opportunity to manage the colors of branches and leaves by using the Vertex color feature. This release contains new parameter Random scale for Instance geometry and also a new parameter Min size faces for Global Meta Settings.

An update to V-Ray 2.0 for 3ds Max is now available

KeyShot3 pluginsThe development team by KeyShot did a great job by the new version of KeyShot 3 and now they released updated plugins for KeyShot. They’re now taking your models directly from SolidWorks, Pro/E, Creo, Rhino and SketchUp right into both KeyShot 2 and KeyShot 3. The main feature of all the plugins is that it will allow you to import your models with both the colors you assigned to it and the assembly/group/layer structure you gave it.
