Grunge Maps Toolkit released

Default picture pluginAllegorithmic has just released new toolkit for normal map generation and grunge.  This new toolkit allow users to grunge procedurally textures in 3DsMax 2012, Autodesk Flame 2012 and Maya 2012 or to generate so called grunge presets like a brush to use in your favorite 2D software like Photoshop.

 

The grunge toolkit can be used for:

- Add an old & dirty effect to your textures
- Blend two materials or textures progressively directly in 3DS Max or Maya
- Generate hundreds of grunge brushes in seconds for your 2D editing software

- Use these substances in Substance Designer!

 

Allegorithmic also released they Bitmap2Material which is a material processing random seamless texture tool transform.  It’s a powerful filter which allows you to generate materials from any bitmap.

Features of Bitmap2Material:

- Transform any photo into a seamless tiling material.
- Generate multiple texture maps at once: diffuse, normal, specular, height and ambient occlusion.
- Fine tune all resulting maps.
- Randomize the results to get infinite variations from a single source.
