Last issue of 3D Creative is again full loaded of interesting tutorials. Comparing two different technics by using Maya and 3ds Max continues with new base model, an old man’s head, which is also a cover picture of this month issue. Also this time whole process is axplained by Rodrigue Pralier and Anto Juricic.
In the second part of tutorial series covering FX, Particles and Dynamics, Matt Chandler and Mike Zugschwert move away from creating and animating water and turn their attention to smoke, with Matt working in 3ds Max and Mike in Maya. They don’t only show us how to set up the effects, but also demonstrate how to manipulate them to match an environment or scenario of your choice.
In Building Droids series also continues waith another part, where Tarik Ali shows us how to use a 2D concept and technical drawing of a cool, sci-fi droid, provided by a talented 2D artist, and turn it into an accurate 3D model in 3ds Max.
And when you are thinking that is all, you are wrong becausein modeling Armored Beast’s series you can see the process which was used to create armored rhino featuring ZBrush 4R2.
