Portal Art of VFX brings an interview with Charlie Noble, where he described his part of work at this movie. Charlie unveiled how they prepared for some sequences and how they must to do before and during creating sequences e.g. creating Hydra factory and hangar or factory destruction. He also revealed some interesting facts such as before starting they visited aircraft museums or that they hired a couple of tanks for the day to provide motion studies for our Landkreuser. But it is not all of course.
